BetterPlace embarks on a new journey with Hyderabad’s private security market
BetterPlace, the technology company offering lifecycle management solutions for the blue-collar, recently forayed into the private security markets of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in collaboration with APSA (Association of Private Security Agencies). BetterPlace recently organised a conclave in Hyderabad to mark the same, which brought together primary employers, service providers, and statutory bodies on a single platform to discuss the challenges and solutions in a comprehensive manner.
The event saw Noel Swaranjit Sen, ex-DGP, as the chief guest for the event where he was joined by other dignitaries, including Major Madhukar K, Gen Secy, AIRDA; Apsar Hussain, President, FMAI; Srinivas, Regional Head, CBRE, among many others.
The industry leaders agreed on the point that the private security guarding services need to be streamlined, as it is one of the highest job-generating industries in the blue-collar segment. The event also had some panel discussions addressing challenges and possible solutions in the private security industry. There were discussions on ‘Concerns in the Private Security Industry’ and another one on ‘Challenges in the Private Security Industry and the Desired Transformation in the Ecosystem.’
Both the states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana employ around 6 lakh guards and 2.5 lakh facility management workers, and BetterPlace targets to expand its customer base in order to provide completely frictionless lifecycle management of these employees.
